Project Overview

The East Village was originally the Athletes Village for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
This current development aims to create a new residential quarter to be known as The East Village. This will involve the new-build construction of 2,818 new homes.

Alandale were engaged to construct a completed ‘Mock-up’ of a typical one-bedroom apartment on behalf of the client.

Project Works

The main objective of these works was to construct a Mock-up to millimetre precise dimensions / exact replica of a typical one-bedroom apartment in example for the East Village.

This was intended to provide the client with a true appreciation of the both the concept and the layout of the space and to also provide a true ‘Look and Feel’ of how the apartments would be once completed, along with the coordination / routing of the units services etc.
