The Canada House Project:
Canada House was to become the home of the Canadian High Commission to the UK, a building originally designed by the architect of the British Museum.
The project was located directly adjacent to Trafalgar Square and was to undergo major reconfiguration / extensive refurbishment of two adjoining listed buildings into one, culminating in an official opening by Her Majesty The Queen.
Alandale designed and installed Independent Scaffolding (with Temporary Roof) that was to allow external, internal and stone refurbishment access, along with the complete re-modelling of the Atrium and Canada House Gallery areas.
Full external independent scaffold with Monarflex frame off the gantries, Public protection gantries, temporary roof, Hoist tower and run-off tower. Lift shaft scaffold, Full perimeter alarm system.
