Canada House

The Canada House Project:

Canada House was to become the home of the Canadian High Commission to the UK, a building originally designed by the architect of the British Museum. 

The project was located directly adjacent to Trafalgar Square and was to undergo major reconfiguration / extensive refurbishment of two adjoining listed buildings into one, culminating in an official opening by Her Majesty The Queen.

Access Solution:

Alandale designed and installed Independent Scaffolding (with Temporary Roof) that was to allow external, internal and stone refurbishment access, along with the complete re-modelling of the Atrium and Canada House Gallery areas.

Specification:

Full external independent scaffold with Monarflex frame off the gantries, Public protection gantries, temporary roof, Hoist tower and run-off tower. Lift shaft scaffold, Full perimeter alarm system.
