Data Centre Belgium

The Data Centre Belgium Project:

Located in the Walloon region of Belgium, this Data Centre uses recycled water from a nearby canal to cool its servers, removing the need for refrigerated cooling and creating an highly-energy efficient Data Centre.

Currently several phases of the construction are completed with a new phase just commenced, overall this is a £1.6 billion project.

Access Solution:

Alandale have had an involvement in the scheme for the past 2 phases and have provided various types and sizes of scaffold and access solutions throughout the campus, from External independent scaffold, to Stair systems and Birdcage scaffolds internally – including within the live data centre environment.

Specification:

A complete design service was required for all scaffolds constructed.

This included the use of GRP scaffold components within the live data centre environment.
