The 101 Cleveland Street Project:
The 101 Cleveland Street Project is the new-build construction of 3 residential buildings of various heights (from 3 storey through to 9 storey) creating 103 residential apartments and retail space.
The building will also have landscaped gardens, gym, screening room, private bar and restaurant areas for residents.
Located in Fitzrovia, close to the BT Tower, the project is in an extremely densely occupied area of London, therefore we had to ensure that the erection of the scaffold was carefully planned and executed exactly as per the plans.
Our works are to provide a complete external access scaffold to all elevations of each building of the project, whilst maintaining all scaffold integrally as one unit.
Carefully designed Beamwork was also required to be installed to support the main scaffold structure in the main pedestrian and vehicle entrances to the project.
The entire scaffold structure was constructed from traditional ‘tube and fitting’ scaffolding, and this decision was made due the varying heights and profiles of the building perimeter.
All scaffold elevations had an integral protection fan designed into the structure to protect the general public and the entire scaffold was encapsulated in Monoflex to provide further protection to the public.
