Salary: £46,000 – £50,000 pa (plus benefits)

Hours: Mon-Fri • Location: London, E14

As an experienced Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects allocated to you which include pre-tender work, planning, budgeting and coordinating logistics packages at a senior level. You will be involved in working with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring the project runs to schedule. 

The role will also involve controlling delivery of materials, movement of site traffic and managing a range of trade operatives. You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that the contract is delivered on time and keeping the Contract Manager informed of the progression in accordance with the reporting procedures agreed. 

Key components of the role will be to deal with complex, high profile projects and represent the company at a senior level at meetings. The ability to demonstrate excellent strategic project management experience and skills is mandatory. 

Suitable candidates must hold SMSTS and have similar proven experience on high profile and large value construction projects.You will also need to have experience in managing multi-disciplined operatives on a busy site. NVQ level 6 qualificationis desirable but not mandatory.
