Company Overview
From the formation of Alandale Logistics in 1996, the majority of projects undertaken were traditionally located in London and the South East, however a number of projects were also successfully secured in other locations in the country in response to specific requests from our Clients.
Since we successfully demonstrated that we could undertake projects outside of our usual operating areas (and given that many of our existing Clients operated on a national basis), a decision was taken to establish a regional office based in the North of England.
The regional office was established in 2006 with the appointment of a Regional team to oversee these projects.
The regional office provides an operational base for all the projects undertaken by Alandale Northern, with our Director, Contracts Manager, Surveying and Administrative resources all being located in this office.
Within 12 months of the regional office being established, Alandale were successful in being appointed by Dublin Airport Authority to provide a full Logistical Management package on the construction of the new Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport.
This extremely logistically complex project (with an overall construction budget of €650m) was managed by Alandale Northern; which to date, remains the largest project undertaken by the Group.
