Initially designed nearly 20 years ago for a major project where deliveries were coming from across Europe, ADBM has now been used on some of the largest and most complex projects in the UK.

ADBM has 3 main access levels:

• Contractor Access
• Client Access
• Administration Access

ADBM not only co-ordinates vehicle delivery times, but also captures all the main ‘resources’ of a project – such as:

• Tower Cranes
• Hoists
• Lifts
• Laydown Areas
• Gates
• Forklifts
• Floor Levels / Rooms

By capturing these resources, and assigning ‘capacities’ to them (as well as the delivering vehicles) ADBM provides a complete management tool that prevents congestion to a project, whilst eliminating the ability to double-book or have delivery clashes. 

This complex resource management tool allows for a delivery to be made that will not only get the vehicle to the project, but will also co-ordinate what resources are needed, and where the delivery will take place and from there to the final destination of the material.

Because of the inherent design of ADBM – deliveries are forced to be booked across the entire day (not just the beginning and end of the day) and this is called ‘demand smoothing’.

BREEAM / C02

We continually work to improve ADBM, and as part of these improvements, we also capture vehicle sizes / fuel type / distances travelled etc. all of which are used to calculate C02 emissions (for which we produce a monthly report to our clients) and assists with the particular BREEAM aspects of a development.
